Upon his reminder, Vera Wave remembered that two days ago Nathan Leafcastle had called, saying he needed to see her, but she was busy at the time and offhandedly mentioned she was only free on the weekend afternoon.
"I'm really sorry, I've been so busy these past few days, so..." Vera hesitated to say the word "forgot," "I momentarily overlooked it."
"No problem, I know you've been busy lately." Nathan Leafcastle smiled warmly, "I invited a psychology expert from the United States to come over and help check on you. It seems you're not busy now, right?"
