He smashed the gate askew with his car. Ignoring the now-deformed vehicle, Kris Cooper sped into the complex.
"Hey!" A security guard rushed out. Watching Kris Cooper's car disappear, he instantly raised his walkie-talkie. "Manager, this is Li! Someone has broken the gate!"
The sports car charged deeper into the complex, screeching to a halt in front of the villa at the very end.
Kris Cooper shoved open the heavily scratched car door, dashed up the stairs, and immediately hammered on the front door.
"Nathan Leafcastle, open the door! Open the door!"
Upstairs, Vera Wave, who was chatting with Dr. Winson Summerton, heard the screeching brakes. The sound was so conspicuous that it naturally attracted her attention. She instinctively turned towards the window and then heard harsh knocking at the door downstairs, accompanied by a familiar male voice.
"Nathan Leafcastle! Open the door! Bastard!"
