Kris Cooper raised his eyebrows slightly and shook his head helplessly.
"Alright, I'll forgive you this time."
The young girl was naturally overjoyed upon hearing this and immediately wrapped her arms around him.
"You're the best, hubby..."
As her body touched his chest, she felt a sharp pain, and before she could finish her words, she inhaled sharply and pushed him away.
"Ouch—Kris Cooper, are you a dog?!"
"Wrong, I'm a wolf!" The man said with amusement and concern as he looked at her chest. "Wolves love to eat little white rabbits!"
Looking down at her bare chest, she blushed and hurriedly pulled the blanket over herself.
He took out a box of ointment and some cotton swabs from the drawer, pulled back her blanket, and carefully applied some on her. Vera's face turned red with embarrassment, and she dared not move.
A moment later, he put away the ointment and gently helped her pull her shirt back and buttoned it loosely.
"Hubby, I'm hungry."
"What do you want to eat?"
