Lucille furrowed her brows. "So quickly?"
"The reason I know is that they approached me only this morning, and I declined," Sophia Thompson said as she sat down. Her assistant took out a laptop and sat beside her, prepared to take notes. Her gaze landed on Kris Cooper and Vera Wave. "Both of you are the parties involved in this case, and I'd like to have a thorough discussion with you."
"Alright then." Lucille stood up. "Vera, Kris, let's go sit somewhere else."
The two understood and left with Lucille immediately.
Sophia Thompson wasted no words and got straight to the point.
"I've seen all the other documents. What I want to know now is, regarding this meeting, did Liliana Davis invite you, or did you invite her?"
"She invited me. She called me the night before it happened and sent me a text message the next day specifying the time and place of the meeting."
Sophia Thompson nodded. "Then, what was the reason for your meeting?"
