Olivia Parker stopped the car, and Kasper Edith opened the door to sit in the passenger seat. As soon as he settled, Olivia immediately started the car.
Sitting beside her, Kasper glanced sideways, observing her expression. He was somewhat unsure about what Olivia's attitude towards him was at the moment.
Logically speaking, if she disagreed with him so much, she shouldn't have agreed to let him invite her mother for dinner.
Could it be that she's accepted him?
After pondering for a moment, Kasper cautiously spoke, "Where's Auntie now?"
Since he wasn't sure what information he'd already learned yesterday, he was extremely cautious, afraid of revealing any clues.
"Oh, she's at Illmere Restaurant, going directly there to meet us at the restaurant," Olivia replied.
Kasper nodded, "That's good... By the way, have you been on the day shift lately?"
"Uh-huh, yes."
"Is the department still busy?"
"Not bad, same as usual. Not many surgeries these days, relatively relaxed."
