Oliver Palmer pushed open the car door, "Wait for a moment, I'll go buy something."
Reese Harris nodded and continued organizing her photos. Oliver got out of the car and went into the supermarket. After a while, he emerged with several varying-sized gift boxes, which he placed in the car's back seat.
Reese was busy with her professional work and didn't pay attention to what he bought.
The car continued on, driving into Reese's residential area. Reese gathered her things and jumped out of the car. Oliver opened the trunk and picked up the large and small packages in his hands.
"Are these...for my mom?"
"Yep." Oliver glanced at the gift boxes in his hands, "Isn't it a bit too little?"
He was almost unable to carry them, yet he thought it might be too little?
Watching the man's earnest handsome face, Reese felt a bit embarrassed.
"How much did it cost in total?"
"Sixteen hundred."
She immediately pulled out her wallet from her bag, but there wasn't that much cash inside.
