"Mr. Edith, what a coincidence!"
Jane Bell approached with a smile, greeting Kasper Edith.
She was a lawyer, and networking was key; a legal case shouldn't turn into a grudge, so she initiated the greeting.
At this moment, the elevator doors had already opened, and Kasper Edith was ready to step inside.
Upon hearing Jane Bell's voice, he turned his face politely nodding at her, extending his hand to hold the elevator door, courteously inviting her to enter first.
"Thank you!"
Jane Bell thanked him with a smile, walked into the elevator, and Kasper Edith followed, standing on the other side of the elevator.
As the elevator ascended, Jane Bell glanced sideways at Kasper Edith.
"Mr. Edith, regarding last night... I'm really sorry."
"It's fine."
Kasper Edith replied indifferently, without turning his head.
Jane Bell had initially been a bit worried, wondering if Kasper Edith might bear a grudge due to last night's events; yet here he was, so dismissive.
