From beginning to end, Memoria Campbell never blamed James Xavier.
She felt sad and upset, but there was no intention to blame James Xavier.
James stood there in disbelief.
The elevator ascended and stopped on the fourth floor, the doors parting.
Memoria stepped out of the elevator, looked around, and headed straight for the jewelry section, then began to choose carefully.
James followed her, staring at the jewelry in the display, not quite understanding what she intended to do.
At this moment, the salesperson approached, warm yet polite.
"Miss, is there something I can help you with?"
"I want to buy a pair of rings." Memoria took a light breath, "Wedding rings."
Wedding rings?
James was shocked.
Earlier, when he saw Memoria looking at rings, he had some inkling, but when he heard her say wedding rings, he was still taken aback.
The salesperson smiled and looked up at James who walked over, "You two, please come this way."
