The girl's hand was still grasping the other side of the swaddle. Clearly, she wasn't really going to drop the baby; she was just making a feint to make Phoebe let go.
She stretched out her arms to hold the baby, then kicked towards Phoebe. Phoebe didn't retreat but advanced, taking the kick directly, then reached out to grab the little one back and threw a punch.
The girl released the baby, retreating a few steps.
By this time, two bodyguards had already chased nearby.
"Sir?!"
Seeing Phoebe fighting with someone, the two immediately sped up and rushed over.
Seeing things were going badly, the girl turned and ran towards the distance.
Phoebe reached out to grab her, catching her backpack. The girl's arms retreated, and the backpack, along with her long hair, fell into his hands.
Taking advantage of the moment, the girl quickly climbed over several fences, deftly jumped over a docked fishing boat, and disappeared into the distant crowd.
