"You little ungrateful thing!" General lowered his face to her lips and gave a playful bite, "Now the flowers are given back to you, and if you dare say you won't marry me, I won't be polite!"
"Just flowers are enough?" Memoria Campbell reached out her left hand and plucked a rose from beside her head, playing with it between her fingers, "Where's the ring?!"
"Of course, there's one!" General extended his right hand and retrieved an item from under the pillow, directly placing it on her wrist, "See, solid, durable, unchanging high manganese steel, and it can be adjusted for tightness!"
Memoria looked at the shiny handcuff on her wrist and pursed her lips.
"I'm not a criminal!"
General laughed, and then locked the other end to his own wrist.
"I am your prisoner, volunteering to serve a lifetime sentence in your jail, until I grow old and die in your cell, alright?"
Memoria laughed, "That's more like it!"
