Wearing a T-shirt and jeans, his face appeared somewhat pale from years without sunlight, and his body was slightly thin. The most unusual feature was his fingers, different from others; he had six instead of five.
"Carl!"
The fifteen-year-old who was thrown onto the sofa immediately supported herself and stood up, looking at Carl with delight as he was brought over.
Carl saw her and also showed a face of joy, but then frowned and struggled, trying to rush over.
His slender frame was no match for the two big men, and he was quickly pinned down onto the sofa.
"Let go of me!"
Carl continued to struggle, but one of the henchmen already had a gun pointed at his temple.
"Carl, calm down!"
The fifteen-year-old hastily reminded him, and Carl quieted down. The henchman then straightened him up and sat him down on the sofa, the gun still pointed at his head.
After looking Carl up and down to confirm he wasn't hurt, the fifteen-year-old turned to Phoebe.
