Sophia Carter nodded, "But I didn't see him, the receptionist said he's not there."
Amelia Clarke had spoken with Alexander Smith over the phone recently and knew he was at the firm. Alexander Smith's actions were understandable, and she wouldn't criticize him.
"I know Lawyer Smith somewhat too. You go back to the car, I'll go in and ask for you, see if I can make an appointment."
"Really?" Sophia Carter held Amelia Clarke's hand. Her hand was soft and warm. "Thank you."
Amelia Clarke felt the coldness of Sophia Carter's hand and was increasingly worried, "Your hands are so cold, get in the car and turn on the heat."
Sophia Carter nodded and walked towards the parking lot.
Amelia Clarke quickly came out from the firm and directly told Sophia Carter that Alexander Smith had accepted Connor Carter's case.
Sophia Carter was immensely grateful and went home to tell Mia Hunt. Mia Hunt heard that it was Mason Carter's sister who helped, pursed her lips, and said nothing.
