Without a sense of time, there are too many unknowns. You can't feel growth or decline, and while you may be moving forward, you can't gauge progress, only sensing an endless, directionless scattering. Even if you have goals and beliefs, you can't fully implement them because you can't distinguish the past from the present nor foresee whether you've aged or the world has changed faster.
