Igor listened quietly to the descriptions from these Spirit Books. For the moment he no longer felt this was a waste of time, because everything the Spirit Books were describing now was something he had never encountered before.
"We're also really curious—what exactly have you been through to know so much about the Spirit World? You have to understand, Lord Soron only opened that passageway and communicated with the Spirits in his old age."

The Spirit Books suddenly started lavishing praise on Igor again. Their words left Kadi, standing off to the side, completely baffled. What they were saying was already abstruse enough, and now they'd suddenly begun inexplicably praising Igor on top of that—what, was he just invisible now?
What Kadi found most infuriating was that this whole thing had clearly started because of him, so why had everything suddenly shifted to revolve around Igor instead!
