The Spirit Book's words left Douglas and Amoon a little puzzled. They didn't quite understand why the Water Spirit was no longer a danger when crossing the river.
Water Spirits mostly dwell in the Vero Realm, they are the spirits of the water, different from the Tree Spirits. Water Spirits are peculiar by nature and rarely interact with humans. They seem to prefer living in their own world and are unwilling to have too much contact with humans.
However, humans have always been a curious species. The power of Water Spirits in the water incites some greedy individuals to continuously harass them, which causes the Water Spirits, who originally had little interaction with humans, to develop a kind of animosity towards them.
