Milo wandered around the small island on Shading Lake.
His brows were tightly furrowed, clearly worried about something. He had been waiting at the edge of the island for a very long time.
Now, he started pacing back and forth again, constantly looking into the water, always hoping to find some clues.
He hoped to see some signs in the clear water. He hoped to find clues about Kadi, after all, he had been with Kadi for quite some time now.
He and Kadi were now the best of friends, and he felt guilty for his actions. He believed that Kadi's predicament was entirely his fault, ultimately because he hadn't kept a close watch on Kadi. Offending the Water Spirit was a serious matter; he should have warned Kadi earlier.
Unfortunately, it was all too late.
This made Milo very frustrated; if he had known all along, such a thing wouldn't have happened!
