If it had been daylight, the entrance to the emergency center would have been bustling with people, preventing such a situation. But it was night, and the weather was so cold; who would be lingering here if they didn't need emergency care?
Liu Banxia saw that the assailant hadn't gotten up. He steadied his nerves a bit. Only then did he feel a piercing pain in his side. He had probably been stabbed.
"HISS. It really freaking hurts," Liu Banxia muttered, clutching his side as he stood up.
"Security! Security! There's an attacker!" After muttering, Liu Banxia shouted loudly.
The two security guards inside heard the commotion and quickly ran out, startled by the scene outside.
"First, restrain him, then call the police. Be careful, he has a knife," Liu Banxia warned them.
"Dr. Liu, are you injured?" a nurse who had rushed out asked.
"I'm fine for now. Check on that man first," Liu Banxia waved his hand dismissively.
