The clothes were all black, rough and dirty, as if it had been thrown into the bush and rolled on the floor on purpose.
But the people didn't care about the cloth one bit. "What are we going to do about the monster? What if it comes charging over here at any time?" The elderly man asked, clearly disappointed that Damien was unable to kill the monster.
"I say we leave here first, then we can decide whatever we are going to do later." Alex said, already getting into his carriage.
Their distance wasn't that far from the monsters and it was dangerous to keep women and children in danger.
Damien urged Audrey into the carriage with some of the children along. Though the carriage was too small to contain a lot of them, they were mostly pushed into it and Alex was forced to endure sharing his carriage with some of the elderly women that could barely walk.
The rest of them walked with the soldiers.
