Chapter 358 - 4-5

Chapter 4: Facet of powers

Toshinori really couldn't help but chuckle at seeing the young greenette fly around so freely, laughing all the while in the thrilling joy of flight all around the gym as she flew with perfect grace as if she been flying her entire life, with the expertise of someone who has had years worth of practice under their belt.

If he had suddenly gained the ability to fly he'd also feel the same way, like nothing could hold you down now.

He wondered if this is how anyone with a flight type quirk felt like?

Maybe even Nana too...?

He didn't dwell on that too much as he did not want to start frowning while his successor was in a gleeful mood. So he just focused on what has transpired since starting her ability evaluation and training.

It's true that there is a true difference between actually floating and flying so they chose to test her flight skills first before they got to the strength part seeing as she could barely keep her feet on the ground and It might be a good way to burn off some of that energy, it did take her a little while when it came to flying in different directions higher then 5-6 feet off the ground (as noted from her crashing a little bit at least two or three times) but in no time whatsoever she eventually got the hang of it and even got to practice dodging some of cementoss' cement like liquid tentacles coming at her (Which she absolutely nailed without getting cement on herself), And she passed all other aerial type tests that were equipped within the gym.

Right now they were currently seeing how long she could keep flying before she actually got dizzy or got tired out, And so far there's been no sign of such.

"Remember to take this seriously Midoriya." Aizawa told her when she came close enough to him to fly in circles around him.

"I am sir." She told him before She finally decided to stop and land as her feet gently touched the ground.

"Was there any drawbacks whatsoever." Nezu asked as he approached her.

"Nope, I really don't think I've hit a limit yet, I mean there's got to be some kind of downside to this but so far I think my limit to how long I can remain flying before I feel some kind of drawback is pretty long." She, with an excited smile, explained to him as he nodded.

"I've also noticed that you seemed very cheerful while you were flying, undoubtedly it must've been very fun." Nezu pointed out as Izuku nodded before she stated confidently, "It really was, in fact when I was flying I really felt a positive flow of joy course through me, pushing away my worry and nervousness. It's actually been a long time since I've really felt this way."

Nezu nodded while both Toshinori and Aizawa couldn't help but internally wince at that, while it was good to see her in a more upbeat mood they both couldn't help but feel there was a double meaning behind what she said.

'Really need to check on those Quirkless reports later... no matter how much I may regret it after.' They both unknowingly thought the same thing as the latter felt rather ashamed that his fore knowledge on that subject was rusty since the last case he had 12is years ago though he knew for a fact it paints an ugly picture there.

"So we can check that off the list, we can test your flight further on another day, but for now let's get to the strength part of this exercise." Nezu told her as he gestured to the cement user to create a rectangular stone block so that she could use it to test her strength to see if there was some kind of limit to it, And he made sure the block in question was big and thick enough to last as long as possible before it would inevitably be smash the bits.

"As the kids would say, let her rip." Cementoss said as he gave the group a thumbs up before backing away to give the girl room as She glided over to the Target before landing.

Getting into a fighting stance, From what she could remember from trying to self teach herself karate, She pulled back her right fist before she launched it forward as hard as she could while yelling, "Smash!"

With that, as soon as her fist collided into the cement target it created a small explosion of cement as bits went flying as her fist created a small yet decent fist sized crater.

She stared in awe at what she had done, amazed that she was able to do that, by herself The only thing that would result from her punching a target like this would be bruised and bloody knuckles, but In this form it didn't cause any pain whatsoever, as if she even punching an overstuffed pillow.

She turned back to the others as she smiled at them asking in excitement as her eyes sparked Just as much as they did from when she was flying, "Did you see that?"

"Indeed we did young Midoriya." Her mentor nodded with an impressed smile.

"Looks like that answers our question." Aizawa stated while briefly giving Mr. Yagi a 'Really?' glare, for the fact that she mimicked his "Smash" catchphrase, before turning back to her, "Was there any pain?"

"Nope." She told him, "Not even a little, it felt like I was punching an overstuffed pillow."

"Indeed it seems you are strong enough to leave a dent into that cement block, but the question remains on how long can that strength last without stopping and if it can go even further then this?" Nezu stated with a grin that widened a bit..

"Let's see." She said, before she turned back to the cement block.

Soon she started to throw more punches at the block, both left and right, again and again, creating more craters around the first one and making it into one big crater making it go deeper and deeper, it was only when she was a couple feet deep did she actually drew back and panted a bit before waving our hands a bit in pain.

"You ok?" Toshinori asked her as she turned back to them as she nodded and said, "Yeah, just a bit winded and my fingers and knuckles sting a little bit."

"Then there is a limit to how long you can keep going before you actually start to feel any form of drawback. Eventually you'll start to feel winded and feel pain from punching for more then 3 minutes." Nezu deduced.

"It may not seem like a long time, but going at it for that long can still make a difference." Her mentor told her as she nodded while clenching and unclenching her hands to relieve them of soreness and stiffness.

But then she started to have a thoughtful look as something occurred to her right then and there, it surprised her a bit as it felt like this thought was being gently pushed into her mind enough for her to catch wind of it.

She looked down at her belt, or more specifically, her compact like buckle. Only for her eyes to widen in surprise as she saw that the green part of it was flashing that color, almost beckoning her, like it was telling her what to do.

The others noticed this too as curiosity and caution filled them as they all wondered what was happening.

Before anyone could say or do anything, Izuku touched the compact and the instant she did there was a flash of white light that nearly blinded everyone as they averted their eyes.

It only lasted for a moment before they felt it die away as they all looked back at her only to be met with surprise as her appearance had changed.

Her hair was no longer in a high pony tail being held by a big red bow, but instead her hair went upright In a (though kinda curly) spiky style that somewhat resembled a wave But looked more natural compared to how it would look if anyone had used hair gel, and in her hair were high lighted Screamin Green diamond shaped hair clips on both sides of her hair, her attire color changed too as what was hot pink was now Screamin Green, what was light pink was chartreusish yellow, The "P" initial on her ring was now light green, everything else about the outfits style remain the same as before, and lastly was her eyes which were now Screamin Green.

And Toshinori Yagi could tell you that both this color and her natural emerald green colored eyes looked somewhat alike unless you actually got a closer look at them to confirm the difference.

Izuku looked at herself and was amazed, she Just went from pink to green and it was also then that she felt like she was much stronger then the pink form.

Did that mean this form was stronger then the other?

Well, there was only one way to find out.

She turned to the cement hero and asked him if he could fix the block so that she could test something with this new form.

He blinked at this But nonetheless complied as he used his power to make the cement block return to how it was before the damage was done.

The others were curious about what she was planning to do although they theorized, Especially when it came to the principal and the blonde scarecrow, that she noticed something in the form and she wanted to test to see if this form was weaker or stronger than the form she was in before.

Soon enough the block was back to its original state before She got into the same fighting stance again and, after making sure Cementoss was out of the way, pulled back her right fist before throwing it forward as she yelled, "Smash!"

Upon impact a bigger explosion made out of cement came about as The bits went flying once more and her punch not only left a bigger crater than the pink form did but also definitely was deeper than the previous one, In fact it was so deep that She could estimate that by the length its about as deep as how long Her lower arm was from the elbow to her fingers.

"I knew it!" She chimed in awe, "This form felt stronger than the pink one I was in, so it's safe to estimate that apparently I must have three forms, if the colors on the compact are an indication, and each one has their own sets of power levels, strengths and weaknesses. Possibly even abilities that only each one of them can do but the other cannot."

"I have to agree." Nezu nodded as he Was thinking the same thing, "So it's best that we get as much information about each form as possible and keep an eye out for any sort of other bells and whistles each one might have came with."

Izuku nodded before She was given the go-ahead to continue punching and see how long her strength can last this time compared to before.

She then unleashed more attacks on the cement block but faster (naturally to her) then before and not just on one side but on every other spot around the block itself as it started to crumble the more she punched it until eventually it crumbled to a pile of dust and little pieces.

She didn't even feel winded after that.

"Not only is this form stronger than the other but, muscle speed wise, faster and it seems you have more stamina too, We should assume that your other stats have a limit of their own and it varies depending on how much of which one you're using up more. Though I should guess that some of them would probably be the same as the others depending on the circumstances." Nezu deduced as this was starting to fascinate him more and more.

"Should we continue?" Aizawa asked for confirmation.

"Yes, at least until this form has hit its own limit." Nezu told him before he turned to the greenest greenette and told her, "Remember, you don't have to push yourself if you reach a limit, if you hit it then stop and tell us of your state, the last thing you want is for you to overexert and hurt yourself more than mild bruising."

Before you ask, They had called Recovery girl to come and join them earlier, but right now she was busy at an appointment with a hospital nearby but she did call and tell them that she would be back soon enough and to go on without her but be sure to monitor the progress carefully.

She nodded to him, understanding his instruction as she turned back to the pile that used to be the block as she watched in awe as the cement hero restored it back to the way it was And made not just one but several more around her to test her stamina, figuring that it would be more ethical and make a lot more sense to have more than one target for her to practice on instead of just using one and repeatedly reshaping it, What Cementoss was doing here would save time for them.

With that she got to work, while adding flying into the mix to help her punch the targets even faster, repeatedly she punched and destroyed each of the blocks, one by one, even as the others were being mended after she took them out, she did indeed last longer than the pink form until she eventually winced from the last punch she threw at one of the restored blocks for the upteenth time.

Knowing it was time to stop.

She turned back to gentlemen (and gentle hybrid), as she told them as she clenched and unclenched her hands like she did before, "The same as before, I'm okay besides feeling my knuckles hurt enough to make it sting."

Looking at his watch Aizawa told her, "You lasted for about 8 straight minutes. Might not seem much to others but it's still a pretty long time to fight, all things considered, and a lot can happen in that amount of time much like your other time with the pink form."

"Now it's time to see what you can do in your blue form, if the color on your compact is any indication." Toshinori told her as He had voiced what the principal was going to say as he and the Erasure hero nodded.

She nodded as she turned back to the compact before she placed her hand on it and with that another flash happened but this time they were prepared as they shield their eyes to save them from getting blinded.

Like before the flash only lasted for a moment before they felt it died down and they turned back to her as they were expecting to see something new this time.

Her hair was once again in a different style but this time her hair was in two high corkscrew pigtails with some curls around here and there, She had a shiny blue hair clip on the right side of her hair where her hairline was along her forehead as it pulled some of her hair back and made some of her curly bangs go slightly upward and because of that it looking kind of like a cowlick but much smaller, Her theme color, likewise as before, changed as what was Screamin Green Was now sky blue, what was chartreusish yellow and light green was now light Pascal blue, like before everything else about the outfit was the same except that her eyes were now the same color as her main theme which was sky blue.

Like before she got a good look at herself and was able to feel the percentage of power that this form had but this time she could definitely indicate that this form, though strong, seemed like it was a bit weaker than the pink one and most certainly weaker than the green form.

"I believe this form is actually weaker In terms of strength than the other ones as it feels a little close to the pink one but not too much." Izuku told them while she was still in the air all the while all that was going on.

"Then it's safe to assume that we're only just going to need one target for you to practice to see how long you can keep going before a drawback hits you," Toshinori said, having done an educated guess before he gestured to Cementoss To do away with the other targets and only create one which he did without issue.

Izuku landed as she repeated what she did The last two times as she got to work.

Another "Smash!" Was sounded as she threw a punch at the block but this time while it did send bits of cement flying it wasn't too much and she could see that the crater was definitely smaller than the pink one did. She kept going until eventually after about maybe a minute and 30 seconds without stopping, she started to wince pain once more as she pulled back and got to look at her Handy work as she saw that the crater was only about half as big as the one that the pink one had left.

"Same as before on my stats." She told them as She floated back to them while also clenching and unclenching her fists again.

"In terms of strength we can establish a tier list as the blue one seems to be the weaker of the other two, The pink one's in the middle between them and the green one is the strongest of them." Nezu evaluated, "We should also assume that considering that you didn't feel any drawback from flying all the while you were in your green form and your current one, we can safely guess that for all three of them, in terms of flying, their limit is pretty high. But again we'll have to test more on that at a later date. Plus We will have to see how well you'll do in terms of weight lifting, as there's a difference between punching something and lifting it, later on."

Everyone nodded at that as Cementoss joined them and as Izuku pondered on all they've learned so far.

They had pretty good data so far but for some reason, she still felt like there's still more to each form than meets the eye, She felt as if there was something inside of her waiting to be grabbed and used, encouraging her to take hold of it, so she concentrated on that feeling and extended her hand out as the others had noticed this and watched to see what would happen, and soon enough she felt it popping into existence as a brief but definitely smaller flash of light came in as she grabbed the thing which she was concentrating on before getting a closer look at what it was.

It was a giant white bubble wand with a blue outline going down from the loop to the very end of it with a blue bubble jewel right near where the necks base was, and at the end of the bubble wand there's an oddly kind of indescribable blue jewel like design. As for the length of the bubble wand itself it was about a few inches longer or maybe perhaps nearly a foot longer than her.

"A bubble wand? Really?" Aizawa asked a bit in Confusion and more unimpressed in exasperation as this seemed rather ridiculous.

"Ah, ah, ah Aizawa," Nezu lightly yet playfully scolded, "We shouldn't underestimate it just by its general appearance, Just like with the other forms there has to be more to this than meets the eye."

"He is right, judging a book by its cover before getting to see the contents of it is pretty foolish." Toshinori agreed as he turned back to his protege as he told her, "It's best we see what it can do before we make a final judgment."

Izuku agreed as she got a closer look at it, It felt as light as a feather and it almost felt like she had been carrying this weapon all her life, almost felt like it was instinctively telling her how to use it.

First she simply Blew at the loop as normal bubbles came out which looked very pretty with its gentle yet lovely iridescent coloring.

Apparently obvious that the bubble wand itself produced its own bubble liquid so there was no need to dip it into that stuff normally.

Then she looked around her as She was evaluating the room around her before her eyes landed back on the block which she had been punching not too long ago.

'I wonder...' She thought before she got to a stance, raising her bubble wand as she envisioned the wand unleasing an attack.

With a sweep of her wand, with careful aim, a barrage of bubbles came flying out and flew straight towards their target, each one pelted the block as they left a number of dents on it The size and shape of ping pong balls as the block itself look like it had more divots in it than of golf course.

Now this piques his interest as Aizawa felt kinda foolish for underestimating the weapon in question as he, The principal and the number one hero watched in fascination.

"Who says bubbles can't be weaponized?" Nezu playfully taunted, "If Bubble girl is able to do it, then so can Ms. Midoriya."

Aizawa knew that was directed at him as he tried not to facepalm himself at having forgotten about Bubble girl and her quirk.

Why did he forget? He blamed it on that late nighter he had for blurring his memories.

Izuku stared at the bubble wand for a moment as she couldn't shake the feeling that there was also one more move that she use with it and somehow she knew what she needed to do but first she needed to test it.

Then her eyes went down to a chunk of rubble that went flying from when she was smashing the other stone blocks in her green form earlier, taking a chance she swung the bubble Wand at the object, and just like she envisioned it, The bubble itself did not obliterate the piece of rubble but instead captured it as it was now trapped inside as the bubble floated as if it wasn't carrying something that should have been heavier than the bubble itself, with said bubble being bigger than the piece of rubble it held.

"Not only am I able to unleash a barrage of bubble like attacks at my opponent's but I can also use this to capture them and possibly even use it to help catch civilians falling or use them to easily transport them to safety if picking them up by hand is a no-go depending on the circumstances." Izuku surmised, "Plus when it comes to children it'll probably be entertaining for them and help to at least dissuade some of their fear until they are transported to safety-."

"But how durable is the bubble in that regard?" Toshinori asked as This brought up a good question and stopped her from going into a rambling spree (he always found it endearing but he knew that it would annoy Aizawa though he hasn't said anything about it... yet).

"Only one way to find out." Nezu said as he approached the bubble before he turned back to the girl and asked her, "May I?"

"Go ahead." She told him as she backed up a bit before Nezu attempted to try and punch the bubble but upon impact It only bounced off as the bubble continued to float in place.

Okay granted physically Nezu is kind of weaker than the others, He can throw a mean punch but it was definitely not as strong as someone with a strength enhancing quirk. But it should be reminded that despite what he lacked in physical strength, he more than made up for in intelligence, especially when it came to his quirk.

He wouldn't even need to do too much in order to apprehend his opponents, and besides that you have to remember that he's also still an animal even if he is sentient, so he has his own set of claws that he's not afraid to dish out when necessary, not to mention that he's faster in terms of reflexes and reactions.

Of course there was one thing that most people tend to forget, when needed he can pull out a retractable metal bo staff which he can use to whack your head into submission, Which is exactly what he tried to do to the bubble as he pulled it out before extending it and tried to pop the bubble by whacking it repeatedly, as many angles as he could, but all it got was the attack bouncing off the bubble everytime.

Upon seeing no result changes the principal retracted the bo staff before putting it back in his back pocket before he turned back to the others and said, "It seems that these bubbles are pretty durable although I wonder how they would withstand somebody who has a quirk that makes them physically stronger or somebody who has a quirk that makes them spiked up or just spiky objects in general?"

"They'll probably be something we'll have to test later if we want to do a thorough side-by-side comparison." Aizawa told him as everyone else agreed.

"Ms. Midoriya, do you think you'll be able to pop the bubble yourself?" Nezu asked her, She pondered on this for a moment before she responded, "Only one way to find out."

She approached the bubble that still contained the fragment of the block and extended her wand towards the bubble before gently tapping it, immediately upon contact the bubble popped and the fragment fell back down to the ground.

"For the time being you're the only one able to pop the bubbles that you create." Toshinori stated as his protege walked back towards them as he then said, "But that also begs the question, if this form has a weapon then wouldn't it make sense that the other two have weapons of their own?"

"I think you're right, in each form I was in, Even when I was focused on strength and flight, I was able to sense that there was more to each one In terms of feeling like there was something inside that was waiting to be used, if you're hypothesis is correct then the other two forms should have a weapon just like this one." Izuku agreed and speculated as The others one by one started to agree with that.

Considering everything they have seen and evaluated so far, It was a definite possibility.

Well, it's time to get to work.

Upon transforming into her pink form she concentrated on that feeling once more and was able to summon the weapon that corresponded to that one, which was a yo-yo.

But like the wand It was no ordinary one by any means and should not be underestimated just by its general appearance.

The yo-yo itself was hot pink and in the center of the yo-yo on both sides was a bubble gum pink bubble With a dark magenta outline around it and in the center was a fuchsia "P", And lastly the ring for the yo-yo was also hot pink. The size of yo-yo itself was The size of a baseball.

The yo-yo certainly packed a punch as it was able to leave a decent dent in the stone block when used to hit it, but it seemed like it was much more specialized for capturing objects and opponents and tying them all up much like a cowboy would an animal on a farm.

And as tested by Toshinori in his All Might form, The string of the yo-yo itself was extremely durable and could withstand even those who had the strongest of strength enhancement quirks.

It was also kind of funny to see All Might suddenly get so tangled up in the yo-yo, trying to break the string of it only to be met with failure and frustration, that it took them a good while to untie him even after he transformed back into his normal state, in trying to make it easier but really it made things a little more tricky.

It certainly amused Aizawa while Nezu was not hiding his laughter by any means at his former students plight.

And next came the green form, just like with the other two she concentrated on the feeling before the weapon appeared in her hands once more.

This time it was a hammer, judging by the layout of the hammer itself it was, to be specific, a Megaton Dunk Hammer.

The hammer itself in terms of the shape of the base kind of reminded them of a video game character from back in the old era, The hammer itself was yellow with black lines separating both ends of the hammer from the center, the base of the neck and at the end of the hammer was crystal blue and at the end of the hammer was a Crystal Blue ball (an actual ball not a real glass ball or a fortune tellers ball), The staff part of the hammer with yellow, and on the face of both sides of the hammer was a Screamin Green "P". In terms of length it was almost as long as she was, But they all can agree that the bubble wand was most certainly longer than the hammer.

Considering that the green form was the strongest of the other two it made sense that this form would have the strongest weapon, as proven by the smashing session that she gave to the newly formed blocks to test the hammers strength and power to see how long she could wield it to attack.

Not only that The hammer itself, with enough control and ferocity, allowed her to become a spinning tornado that really packed a punch, And while her weapon is mainly a close range weapon, she can also create and send energy projectiles and extend her hammer (by the staff) to attack at long range.

For that last part it's kind of like combining a bo staff with... A hammer.

I know what you're going to say, don't say it.

Anyhow.

She could wheel the hammer as if it was lighter than it looked.

Upon further inspection, It seems that apparently the weapon itself cannot be picked up by anybody else but her as demonstrated by everybody not even being able to lift the hammer off the ground, even Toshinori in his All Might form was having difficulty trying to lift it as the hammer was heavier to him than he thought it would be, And even though he was able to get it off the ground He was only able to keep the hammer lifted up to where his chest was for a solid minute, If he was pushing for endurance, before he had to drop it or he felt like his arms were really going to snap off his body.

And that was really saying something considering how strong All Might normally is.

The same applied for the other two weapons as they quickly tested, Although they all agreed that the hammer was way, way heavier than the wand and the yo-yo, but then the young greenette had an idea of what if the weapons could actually be wheeled by somebody but only if she gave them permission to use her weapons temporarily?

And she was proven to be right, the heaviness of the weapons was suddenly null and void and everyone was able to lift each of the weapons as if they hadn't been heavy A few minutes ago.

Apparently she was able to allow the person to borrow her weapons even if she was in a different form, The weapons would all come back to her if she willed them to, Even from a distance, though how far the range could go they would have to test later.

What was clear though was that depending on which form she was in, each weapon would only correspond with the specific form that it went with, no matter what, though it was different if somebody else wheeled her weapon with her permission while she was in a different form altogether.

"I hope there hasn't been any serious harm done while I was away." Came the voice of Recovery girl as she came into the gym with her tone being both firm and giving off the implication that she will whack somebody if they hadn't been careful with this.

Just because she was old it didn't change the fact that she could still whack you into next week if you're not careful, she still got it despite being both short and elderly.

Don't let her cute and friendly grandmotherly appearance fool you into forgetting that she can still fight if the situation called for it.

"Aside from some mild bruising earlier, everything's been okay." Nezu told her as she came over to the group, But it was then that a thought struck the principal as he turned back to Izuku before he turned back to the nurse hero and told her, "Now that I actually bring that up, I'm actually quite surprised that I haven't seen our young student here wince in pain at all after having receiving some bruising from demonstrating her strength earlier aside from some she expressed when she hit her limit three times in all three of her forms."

"Actually now that you mention it Yeah that does seem kind of weird." Toshinori agreed as the thought struck him too as did the Erasure hero as they all turn to Izuku who seemed to have the same realization herself as she looked down at her hands, more specifically her knuckles, she did feel the pain from reaching her limit three times but then after that she didn't even notice that the pain seemed to have gone away.

At first she thought it was because of adrenaline but now she was starting to think that it might be something else, and not just because she could sense her body telling her that.

She took off her ring and both her gloves, surprised to see that her knuckles looked perfectly fine Even though she should have at least shown some bit of bruising.

"Not even a scratch." Izuku said in fascination, "I should have had some bruising or at least some form of injury after using my full strength three times in each form but it's as if nothing happened, I didn't even notice that the pain was going away while we were evaluating on my weapons, at first I thought it was because of adrenaline but now I see that's not the case, these powers include the ability to heal, and it can correspond to each form."

"It's the only thing that makes sense," The old healing hero chimed in as she got closer to her before the greenette knelt down to meet with her at eye level and showed her knuckles to her as the woman nodded at seeing that there was nothing wrong after a brief examination, "This new facet should come in handy but I would like to get a sample of your DNA to see what other sort of changes we should expect, it's better if we have as many details as possible, No matter how confusing or odd, than to be left in the dark."

"That makes sense." Izuku said as she nodded, "Hopefully we'll be able to learn more about this from there."

"For now though, I would suggest that you all take a break for lunch while I do the examination." Recovery girl told them as Izuku's stomach decided to make its prolonged hunger known as it growled very loud, definitely louder than it had earlier as Izuku blushed in embarrassment.

Toshinori lightly facepalmed himself as he said with a groan, "I completely forgot that we were planning to have lunch earlier, but then all of this happened and It completely slipped our minds."

"Then it would be wise to stop for the time being and get back to it after lunch and after Recovery girl gives us an evaluation on her findings." Aizawa stated and proceeded to make his way over to the door before he finished with, "Besides, you can't work on an empty stomach, it's illogical and dangerous."

Everyone agreed as they all made their way over to the door, their first stop would be to the nurse's office real quick so that Recovery girl can not only get a sample of her DNA but also actually give her a well needed checkup to make sure everything was going smoothly before the others would make their way over to the cafeteria to eat.

Little would any of them know that what they would soon learn would definitely be, For lack of better dictionary words, completely strange and mind-blowing.

Chapter 5: Split differentiation

To say that they were not expecting any more surprises until at least after lunch would probably be an understatement.

After Recovery girl got a sample of Izuku's DNA, The blonde, the black, the greenette and the hybrid all made their way over to the cafeteria to get a much-needed meal in while Cementoss, who turned down the offer as he already ate earlier, went to go finish setting up the student paperwork for literature arts.

Around this time it was when Izuku was coming down from her exciteful mood as this allowed her to ponder on everything they had learned so far.

The possibilities of what these powers could do and how many she was able to wheel was just phenomenal in its own right, flight, super strength on varying levels, superpowered weapons, who knows what other abilities she may be capable of doing? The sheer possibilities of what she might also be capable of seem limits.

The day just got more and more surprising, intriguing and exciting with each passing minute.

All her life she had wanted to be able to experience what it was like to have special powers just like everybody else, to know what it feels like (any semblance would suffice), to say she basically got a jack of all trades because of an incident that happened on a beach she was cleaning would probably be accurate.

Don't get her wrong She still had full intention of inheriting All Might quirk, She still had full intentions of Carrying on his legacy and working to become a hero in her own right, though It will be interesting to see what the next couple of months will bring before the entrance exam because of this and how these powers will interact with OFA later on.

Obviously she'll now need to train these powers before she can focus back on her OFA training, after all it would be way too risky to put to powers that haven't been trained yet into the same body with it, that's just asking for severe property damage, black listing, dire medical attention or even an early grave.

I know that sounds extreme but you cannot argue that these probabilities are very likely to happen with untrained hands.

Perhaps she could probably convince Mr. Yagi to let her use her newfound powers to test to see how fast she can get more of the cleanup done on the beach? That would definitely save her time and preparation (even if only by a small margin, it may even give her more time to practice using All Might's quirk before the due date).

No, she wasn't shirking work, she's just expanding the possibilities on how she can get more work done by using these new powers, she's still going to train, she knew that she had to keep training to get stronger so that she could catch up with everybody else, quirk, powers or no She wasn't going to get lazy or cocky.

But there was still something that was bothering her... okay two things actually though the former might be manageable.

First was that She knew she needed to have an explanation on why she got these powers so suddenly to her classmates when she got back to school, Especially as she was a teenager and it should be rather impossible for someone to manifest their quirk around this time.

Although that was not exactly true, there were reports on rare instances where people manifested their quirks late, mostly when they were still kids but definitely older than the age of four, and there were even some instances where people had manifested their quirks when they were in their teenage years, though that's more rare, especially also if it's someone who's in their adult age but usually around their early twenties (But again that was a bigger rarity in its own right).

She could definitely use that to evade problematic questions she'd rather avoid.

Perhaps she could convince Recovery girl to give her a medical report to show proof that, medically speaking, she did have a "quirk", by pretending that the power she had gained was a quirk that had manifested and just needed the right requirements to have it manifest.

It was not uncommon for certain quirks to need a specific way to make themselves known, Even in a way that was either unorthodox, dangerous, highly unlikely, insane, or even Just plain silly.

She had been researching quirks for years and she knew that there was reports on such quirks like these and she knew them all by heart so she could use those to back her up.

Honestly yes she knew it would be lying given how she obtained those powers, and she never liked lying no matter how many times she had done it to keep her mom from worrying more then she already had, but it was the only way to ensure that no one got suspicious nor did anything drastic because of this.

Hopefully with this her classmates would finally leave her alone and the teachers would actually intervene a little more in regards to students picking on her, even if only a little, it would be more than enough for her.

Although trying to mend her relationship with Bakugo was definitely out of the question knowing that no matter if she had gained a quirk or if she remained quirkless, he would always still hate her, and she had a feeling that he still wouldn't want to be her friend after what she had said to him in the classroom month's back.

That ship had sailed and she... she knew he was toxic, and she was better off cutting ties with him.

Though if anything, these powers will probably surprise him and possibly, No most likely, make him angry and he'd demand answers from her, she honestly didn't know if she can trust herself to be able to not break in front of him in trying to explain, and somewhere deep down she had a feeling that even if she said something he probably wouldn't believe her and would probably think that she even lying and hiding her powers all this time when really that's not the case and never was.

That and it doesn't change the fact that what she told him months ago was... awful, Even if he was leaving her alone now that doesn't change the fact that he might snap at any time, Just because he's resorted to glaring at her now, doesn't change the fact that he still greatly despised her.

'I mean sure What I said may have sounded harsh but it needed to be said to get that jerk to back off already, He deserves it, He'll always be a villain no matter how heroic his quirk may seem to others because his attitude is absolutely horrible.' A thought crossed her mind as this made her stop briefly in her train of thinking.

'Where did that come from?' She wondered to herself as she knew she wasn't thinking that, I mean sure she knew that he was absolutely not nice to her and with the current attitude that he has she knew that he would be at risk of blowing his own chances of getting into a hero school (even if their middle school teachers would try to hide that to increase his chances), but the way that thought came out in terms of tone was... Rather cruel and out of nowhere to her.

Nothing came to mind as It didn't really sit well with her but she chose to put that on the back burner for the time being (as she'll try to figure this part out later) and focus on the second issue at hand, which was arguably more pressing.

How did she even know how to use her abilities (with only flight needing some trial and error) without needing the teachers to help any further than they already had done in the gym? Why did it feel natural to know any of this knowledge on how to wheel them properly? Why did it seem like these powers already came with a set of mental instructions that would be readily available to her at any moment? And most importantly... where did these powers even come from? Were they from another world altogether (even if that sounded insane by itself) or were they a manifestation of somebody else's quirk or were they created it in a lab?

There were just too many questions and not enough answers for her to the point that she groaned a bit as she rubbed her head to try and soothe the rising headache.

"Everything all right kid?" Aizawa asked her as he and the others noticed this with concern as he asked what Toshinori was about to ask her.

"Yeah," She told him, "Just an overload of questions as too much has happened in a single day, We don't have enough answers to all of this and Even the thought of the whole thing is headache inducing."

"I don't blame you, it could partially be because you're hungry but on a big majority of that, we understand what you mean." He told her as He gave her a brief pat on the back.

"We all feel the same way Ms. Midoriya, though I wouldn't let it go to your head if I were you, undoubly we will figure it all out in time but for now we should focus on the present and tackle each problem one at a time so to not overwork or overstress ourselves." The principal told her in reassurance.

"They are both right, it's much like how a kid first manifests their own quirk, they're not going to be able to know every single bell and whistle to it, Even if some on an occasion come with a set of some mental instructions to know how to use them in particular ways right off the bat, until they actually get practice in and work hard in learning more on what possibilities could be achieved with them. And learning more about them One day at a time. For all of us we just need to take it at our own pace. Does that make sense?" Toshinori told her as She smiled at him as she nodded.

"You have a good point, taking things at our own pace is a much better idea than trying to rush into it no matter how much I want to learn everything about these powers I have right now." She replied as everybody else nodded in agreement.

Though this moment of clarity was interrupted quite rudely by her stomach grumbling yet again in an impatient manner Which made her both blush in embarrassment and glare at her stomach angrily mentally telling it that it wasn't helping anyone.

Aizawa rolled his eyes at this although he did have an amuse smile which was hidden underneath his capture scarf, while The number one hero and the principal both chuckled at this.

Thankfully the gang was nearing the cafeteria which was a big relief for her as this allowed her to calm down.

She was so hungry She could eat a horse.

Upon opening the doors the scent of something sweet caught her nose as this made her mouth water and her eyes sparkle.

So much so that she didn't even notice that she had subconsciously touched her compact and swapped into her pink form and flew over to the source of the delicious sweet smell, not realizing she had startled the others by doing so.

Upon entering the kitchen she saw the very thing that had attracted her.

Indeed her nose hadn't lied to her, it was a cake, and a beautifully decorated one to boot.

It was a triple layer cake with white as the main color scheme of frosting with flowers made out of light pastel yellow frosting, some golden candy edible pearls here and there, and at the very top of the cake laying on top of a lone frosting made flower was a white macaroon with yellow filling in the center Which match the other ones that were lining all around the cake at the bottom.

She wasn't in there alone, no in this kitchen was none other than The Cooking hero Lunch rush, who is not only a hero but also worked as one of the staff members at UA and was a Master Chef.

"Ah, It seems I've attracted a fellow sweet lover, My latest masterpiece drew you in huh?" The Hero asked her amusingly as the girl nodded eagerly as the others came barging into the kitchen to see what was going on only to be relieved to see that nothing was wrong.

Although ...

"Ah, hello everyone," Lunch rush greeted them with a (not visible) smile, "Did y'all come here to try my latest masterpiece? Or was it because you were worrying about this little lady?"

"That would be the latter, Although I must say that your latest cake definitely looks like a real prize winner." Nezu told him before he turned back to the girl, "Although it was curious to see her react like this all because she smelled something sweet being made, I only have to guess that she isn't the type to act like this."

"I've spent a little over half a year with her, and in all the time that I've spent I know for a fact that she doesn't have a sweet tooth and she rarely ever has anything sugary sweet, especially given the diet plan that I gave her for her training." Toshinori told them in concern which, upon hearing her mentor in this manner, made the greenette snap out of it.

Looking back at the group and at the scene around her she immediately showed a look of deep disbelief and embarrassment upon realizing what had happened.

"I'M SO SORRY!" She squeaked in shame as She landed back on the ground, "I didn't mean to scare you guys like that! I had no idea what I was doing! The very moment I smelled something sweet I didn't even know my mind just went into autopilot almost like it had a mind of its own! I don't even know where that came from! I'm so sorry!"

Everybody took the time to calm her down and ensure her that everything was all right and ensure her that no harm was done before she was finally able to relax a bit and actually be able to look back at her teachers in the eyes, though she was still a little bit red in the face with embarrassment from what happened.

But this did bring up a good question.

"But why did I even act like that in the first place? It makes no sense." Izuku asked aloud as she crossed her arms, "That's never happened to me before. It was almost as if-."

"-As if you had another personality in you all together." Nezu spoke as He stated more than questioned which made Izuku turn to him, the same with the others.

"Sir are you implying that...?" Toshinori asked, still confused, as the principal nodded as he replied:

"It's entirely possible that these new powers also came with a split personality, or given the fact that she has three different forms, she must have more than one kind of personality besides her own, Also if I had to wager I would have to say that depending on the circumstances each part of these personalities will pop up at any given time Even though she'll still remain as herself, it's safe to assume that with this pink form she has a sweet tooth."

Izuku blinked at this in disbelief.

Multiple personalities. Her?

Without acknowledging it, she touched her compact again and she swapped back to her blue form as, with everyone's attention on her, she replied, "I mean it's kinda like a reversible jacket, because like me it can switch between one side to the other without issue, but only if said jacket could have 3 sides to it instead of just two And every side of it would look similar though they would be different in one particular way If not by just color alone."

She then snapped out of it as she blinked, realizing what she just said in surprise.

Yep, definitely another personality, because even though she's made analogies before she has never made a clothes related one before and she had a strong feeling that the blue form was into fashion.

And here she thought she couldn't be any more surprised today then what's happened so far, she has again been dealt with another wave of shock before the day is even done.

At least she didn't do anything embarrassing this time.

It did make sense as it would explain why she acted like she did moments ago, and unquestionably the train of thought she had earlier in the hall had to be because of this, but one thing was still rather disconcerting though.

"While that does make sense, I mean it has to and we should not disregard that confirmed fact, yet... I feel like I've been thrown into the world of Alice in wonderland because I feel like my world's been thrown off kilter." She told them in concern, "I've never even had a split personality let alone multiple different personalities before, Quirked or not."

In the world of quirks generally anything was possible, and yes there was such a thing as sentient quirks where they had a mind of their own, and yes that also included some even coming with their own split personality or two.

But when it came to those particular kinds of quirks they were rather tricky in terms of adjusting to it. As a child it would be easier to manage even though there will be some time needed to get used to it, If those particular quirks manifested in late bloomers, it would get even trickier (to put it simply) and can especially lead to that person having a harder time trying to keep things straight let alone adjust accordingly.

And even those who do not have a split personality quirk but instead had their mentality change in some manner or another because of their quirks, they too have dealt with trying to make adjustments in their lives and getting accustomed to the new facets about them, both the good and the bad.

And this in particular can be both stressful and difficult trying to manage both for the person who has the quirk and for the people around them.

And It wasn't hard to see that the others understood her plight, Especially as they felt sorry for her as she already had enough to deal with as it was, while earlier it was kind of exciting, to know that she would probably have to deal with a semi personality crisis on her hands was worrisome as who knows what these new personalities would come with.

She was brought down from her Cloud of concern and uncertainty as she felt a hand on her left shoulder before she looked up to see that it was Mr. Yagi who gave her a reassuring smile as he told her:

"It's Alright young Midoriya, we'll figure this out together. So you do not have to worry about trying to figure it out all by yourself, Even if there may be some things that you'll be able to understand without an issue while there are others that you'll have difficulty trying to comprehend, we'll help you in any way we can."

Everyone else nodded agreement when she turned to each one of them, even Lunch rush nodded even though he didn't exactly understand what was going on entirely though he had a feeling that it had something to do with her quirk.

She felt some of the pressure leave her shoulders as she smiled back at them and nodded before she thanked them.

But again the moment was ruined by the loud grumbling and roaring of her stomach as this made her blush even worse than last time and made her rather infuriated as she, This time with awareness, touched the compack and shifted into her green form as she glared at her stomach and practically screamed:

"QUIT RUINING THE MOMENT YOU NOISY ORGAN!"

This comedically made everybody laugh.

Because not only was this reaction rather hilarious.

But This allowed them to see that The green form obviously had a bit of a temper, though the way she was displaying it right now was funny.

Much to her relief though This allowed Lunch rush, who understood now why they were there in the first place, to come in and tell them that he would be more than happy to make all of them lunch.

And given the fact that Izuku now had a sweet tooth due to the split personality, he promised that he would allow her to be the first person to try a slice of his newest creation only if she promised to give him a review of his latest work and do so only after she ate a properly healthy meal beforehand in return, which she happily accepted.

And thankfully the Lunch and the dessert (With a small helping of seconds that he graciously offered) that he provided was more than enough to satisfy her vocally hungry stomach.
