Nianzhi's eyes widened immediately, "The egg broke."
Qin Yin asked Nianzhi in a trembling voice, "…Who taught you that?"
Nianzhi struggled to climb down from the chair, squatted to pick up the half-broken egg, and handed it to Qin Yin, "Mommy, the egg really broke."
Qin Yin paused for a moment, then smiled. Alright, she was overthinking it.
"Alright, you can have mommy's." Qin Yin transferred the fried egg from her own plate to Nianzhi's.
Nianzhi blinked and said, "Mommy, you still eat it. I dropped my share on my own, so I deserve not to eat."
Qin Yin looked up at Nianzhi, "Who taught you that?"
"Big-eared Uncle said a man should take responsibility." After saying this, he tilted his head and asked Qin Yin, "Mommy, what does responsibility mean?"
