Chapter 11
That night, later that day Arthur and Morgan returned to the castle and the young man went to take a shower before going to sleep fatigue washing over him after hours upon hours of constant fighting.
The only thing he was able to do that day was put the appropriate supplies to the market before shutting down.
And whole he assumed to be asleep; a meeting was taking place in the war council room. Morgan stood in front of all 60+ soldiers Arthur possessed. All of them had serous expressions. She spoke calmly, "Our lord's heart is heavy," she started calmly her tone stern. "He's finally acknowledged us all as his own and fears for our deaths," spoke the woman.
"The lord should not worry, when we return to the void our power and souls will join him, and we will become a part of his strength." Spoke Holran calmly.
"No, you fool, the lord loves us too much, I doubt he'd view it that way. To him our physical existence is more important that his own growth. I am sure lady Morgan has observed the same," spoke Lucias.
"Yes, you are correct, so all of you etch this into your souls. No deaths are allowed not before the temple revival is built." Spoke Morgan.
"But lady Morgan, death is a part of battle, we risk death every time we take to the field." Spoke Galion.
"That is true, however it is irrelevant. The lord brought us back from the void, where we were meant to stay for eternity. Yet here we are. The impossible was performed. Now you all have to perform the same for the lord." Spoke Morgan while a dark purple aura covered her form with silver twinkles of stars around the miasma.
The dragon creatures all looked down, while 14 golden eyes shone brightly through the mist. A manifestation of her fully grown form.
"If you die, I will ensure your corpses don't have a place of burial." Said Morgan darkly.
"Yes." Spoke the lesser dragon's before her.
"Good now go rest, we have a our first campaign in two days," spoke Morgan calmly. Then she looked at Halron. "Is the tunnel complete?" She asked.
"Yes everything is set," spoke Halron.
"Good, now we have to wait for our Lord's orders." Spoke the woman before dismissing the gathering.
.oOo.
Unbeknownst to them all Arthur who has woken up was listening to their conversation from the hall. He didn't interrupt and when the group all filed out he smiled and spoke, "Morgan before going to rest, I'd like you and Lucias to refine my strategy," spoke the man.
"Of course, sir." Spoke the two dragons and they entered the room.
After a few hours of discussion and coming up with a plan of attack Arthur returned to his room thoughts on the building Morgan mentioned.
"Revival temple?" He asked himself before opening the shop to search.
After scrolling for a few minutes, he found the structure blueprint.
[Revival temple…A temple used to store the souls of fallen soldiers. They can be revived later on as by sacrificing gold and the souls of your enemies.
Needed material.
- 1,000,000 gold
- 10 divine metal
- Marbel stone x1000
- Treant wood × 10000
- Divine Gold ×1
[End]
"Damn…" He muttered, "I don't have even half of the needed materials. However, I need to build it, I can't just allow my troops to die, and if they worry about their lives, they won't be able to fight at full force, and I needed them to give it their all when fighting during the upcoming event." He said out load.
"Sigh first let's focus on taking down this settlement first and see what kind of rewards we'll get and move on from there. I'll also have to investigate the mountains as sea to check if more settlements as well."
Then finally after an eventful day he rested.
.OoO.
The next day Arthur decided to keep things simple and told his units to take it easy keeping close to the castle and after fighting for a half a day he asked them back.
Noticed something important, most of his units were ready to level up and he finally covered the gap levelling to level 9 after Morgan and Galion returned, he noticed that she was already able to reach level 10.
He smiled and told her to level up.
Instead of a simple boost in strength, he noticed her being covered by a massive shell of silver light. He blinked in confusion.
Then Galion he noticed that a thick layer of stones covered him up as well. "What's going on?" He asked himself.
"They are Ranking up my lord." Responded Lucias.
"I see, like they were infants and now they are going up to be toddlers?" He asked.
"Yes, Sire that is an accurate assumption. Both Galion and Morgan are high ranking draconic creatures, their previous size and power was far too low. I suppose when you return us from the void, you bring us back at our infancy." Spoke the wyvern.
These words intrigued Arthur, "So you were alive at some point?" He asked.
"Correct, however I do not know more than that, time in the void has eroded my memory and power greatly. So about how I fell and my previous life," said Lucias.
"Well, if you say your all infants then it makes sense that you don't have said memories, right?"
"I suppose," spoke Lucias.
The two fell into silence while looking at the two shells. After an hour he noticed the first one to break was that of Galion. It started glowing orange and magma spilled to the ground. It continued to grow reaching the size of Galion's previous drake size then bigger, once it grew to 1,5 times bigger that his previous size.
Then it shattered falling apart revealing Galion in his drake form without many changes aside from his size.
A prompt echoed in his head.
[Galion has ranked up…+500 to his previous stats…]

After looking at this Galion's stats Arthur couldn't help but smile. Then another thing caught his attention. The scales of the dragon fell off in most sections of it's body before reforming, slightly bigger.
It was this that caught Arthur's attention while walking forward. The drake kneeled while Arthur placed a hand's head. He smiled at the warmth. "You did good," he said calmly.
"Thank you, my lord," spoke Galion.
The king looked at the scales and picked one up. "This can be of good use." He said more to himself than the dragon before him.
"I am happy that my scales can be of use to you my lord," spoke the man.
"I'll be sure to do so," spoke Arthur before calling the craftsmen to come and take the scales away. "Go eat, evolving must have taken much of your stamina." Spoke the young man.
"Thank you Sire." Spoke Galion while shifting his form and turning human and walking away.
'I'll have to upgrade my warehouse." Thought the man while walking to the storage structure as we well. "To store more food and preserve it better," spoke Arthur to himself. "I'll leave you here to guard her Lucias," he said to the wyvern.
"Yes sir."
Once in front of the large structure, he recalled it's specs.
[Dragon warehouse Level 1]
- A structure that can stock a lot of items and supplies, decreases the decay rate of meat by 15%
"I should upgrade it," he muttered and moved to the market,
He searched for upgrade tokens.
[Structure upgrade token -1,500 gold]
[Special structure upgrade token -3,000 gold]
…
'Hmm, I wonder since the warehouse now has levels does it discount it as a normal building?' he asked himself, 'I should buy both for normal and special tokens, after all I can afford to and I can find out how both work.'
After that, he raised the normal token to the warehouse willing it to upgrade. However, nothing happened, after a minute nothing happened. "Guess that's that." He muttered before moving to the special structure.
[Upgrading structure from level 1 to level 2]
[Dragon warehouse]
- Structure that can stock a lot of items and supplies, decreases the decay rate of meat by 30%
Once that was done, he smiled.
