Helia was cold.
That was what Jiminie first noticed when the portal closed behind them that morning. It was weird having to see the kingdom be a normal place after so many years.
The last time Jiminie had been here, the portals had sent him and So Hee to Agust's chambers. He never got to see the palace that decided the fate of his people one too many times.
But now he was here.
And strangely enough, Helia looked normal.
Like a palace where normal people lived and experienced their day-to-day lives.
They had children running around.
Women and men were working around the kingdom. It was strange to even think that creatures of magic ruled by a dark king could ever be this normal.
They looked like it was just another day in Kiyoto and judging by the way they were doing things, this was normal for them. A life that had so many chances and none at the same time.
