The Ho Jung dungeons held memories for Jiminie. Memories that he had strived to never pay attention to ever. He had known that there would come a day that would induce him to the dark side of his life.
Sure, he wasn't there as a prisoner like the last time, but fuck, the memories of a bleeding Agust in the dark hallways filled with rotting bodies were not something he had wanted to go back to.
They haunted him on normal days and made him wonder if ever they would have to accept the fact that that was just who Agust was.
Or if he would have to breathe and lean into a different side of the mad king, the side that gave him flowers stupidly in the morning and smiled sheepishly at him.
The side that held him a little too long in the night and kept him safe like he was worth everything. Jiminie knew that it was hopeless to imagine Agust in a happy setting always, but fuck the ho Jung dungeons terrified him.
