Laboratory technicians detected traces of radiation on the dwarves' skin. They believed the radiation might have burned them and transformed them into monsters. They immediately informed the security forces, urging them to locate the source of the radiation or develop an energy beam capable of destroying the creatures.
During the battle, the security forces fired powerful energy beams at the monsters, but the attacks had no effect. Instead of being destroyed, the monsters retreated and regrouped around the Monstrous Clock.
The Flying Eyes hovered above the Wild Cat and reported, "We couldn't find Robot Sula or the Robotic Grandfather. We believe they may have been burned inside the monstrous fish."
Meanwhile, Robot Sula and the Robotic Grandfather arrived at the Drunken Robot Café. They hurried inside and sat down across from the reception counter.
"Grandfather, I think I used to own this café," said Robot Sula.
"Sula, I thought we had passed this place before," replied the Robotic Grandfather.
A nearby robot overheard their conversation and said, "The robots took over this café. They tempted me with money and wealth, transforming me from a human into a machine."
Robot Sula looked at him in surprise and asked, "How can you still remember your past if you're a robot?"
The robot smiled faintly and replied, "The breeze in this place reaches deep into the iron. It awakens memories that machines were never meant to keep. And perhaps... there is a forest not far from here."
