She could handle a few dozen bucks' worth of seafood just fine, and besides, the spot she picked wasn't far from home — she could see her front door just by rounding the corner.
When Mei Mengzhen came out carrying the seafood, she vaguely saw two people at her door peeking and craning their necks, looking a bit excited and expectant. As soon as they recognized Mei Mengzhen, they immediately dashed out to welcome her.
"Zhenzhen, what'd you buy?"
Tianyu hadn't even made it over yet, but his hand was already reaching out. Mei Mengzhen just handed the seafood over to him naturally. "Seafood! I've been wanting some for ages — just never had the time. They do good seafood at that place."
"Sis." Chenchen walked up to her and grabbed her hand, calling out in his cute voice. Mei Mengzhen followed up, "Chenchen, do you like seafood?"
Chenchen tilted his head and thought for a bit. "Seafood, huh… Has Chenchen ever had seafood?"
