Mei Mengchen lay on the bed, scrunching up his little face and saying with disgust, "The kids in kindergarten just cry all the time. They cry in the morning, cry at night, cry all day. It's so annoying."
Mei Mengzhen couldn't help but laugh. "Did you cry? All the kids cry, so did you cry too?"
Mei Mengchen shook his head. "I didn't cry. What's there to cry about? You told me, after lunch and a nap, when school's over someone'll pick me up and take me home. Once I'm home, I get to see you. Why should I cry?"
As long as his sister wants him, there's nothing to cry about. He's not the kind of kid who likes to cry anyway.
"Exactly, nothing to cry about. That's how it'll be from now on. I get off school at the same time every day so when you get home, you'll see me too."
Mei Mengchen nodded with determination. "Yeah, I know."
"Besides the crying, did anything interesting happen at school?"
