Chen Junjie was feeling suffocated. When he got back to class and saw everyone studying hard, he thought about his own grades and it made his anger boil. Looking at Mei Mengzhen in front of him, wearing new clothes and filling her fountain pen with ink, he suddenly got a nasty idea. As he passed by, he stuck out his foot and kicked at the leg of Mei Mengzhen's desk.
But it was just his luck—instead, his foot ended up kicking Bi Xiaoyu, who was just about to stand up.
Chen Junjie was full of anger, so his kick was by no means light. Bi Xiaoyu was knocked straight to the ground, with Mei Mengzhen's desk tilting to the side as a result. Luckily, she'd already used up most of the ink, so it didn't spill on her.
Mei Mengzhen didn't think much of it. She quickly put down her pen and ink and, along with the students nearby, helped Bi Xiaoyu back up and moved her to her seat.
