The whole thing started because of this dinner invitation.
Whenever a roommate gets into a relationship, they'll treat their dormmates to a meal—no one knows when this rule began, but as long as you've gone to school, you know it, and it's been passed down for generations.
Jiang Cheng is pretty efficient. Last night before they split up, Luo Yingying just mentioned it, and this morning Jiang Cheng had everything set up.
Besides, it wasn't just their group of girls being invited—the guys from Jiang Cheng's dorm were coming, too.
They said it was to get to know each other, but it felt more like a mixer.
So after Jiang Cheng told Luo Yingying, Luo Yingying immediately shared the news with the other three, sounding just a little bit smug. After all, their dorm had two gorgeous girls, but she was the first one to snag a boyfriend. "After class tonight, Jiang Cheng's treating us to dinner. The Hot Pot Restaurant just across from the campus."
