Liang Xiao had thought it through pretty clearly—her facial scar was too deep, scar removal wouldn't work, skin grafting might, but that would only happen after graduation, so she kept this matter buried in her heart and had never talked about it with anyone, not even Mei Mengzhen.
But Liang Xiao hadn't expected that Mei Mengzhen would still be thinking about her face, and even brought her scar removal cream. Warmth bubbled up inside Liang Xiao again. Whether this stuff worked or not, she felt Mei Mengzhen's kindness. "Zhenzhen, you don't have to go through all this trouble for me. The scar on my face is way too deep, things like this usually don't help much. Don't waste your money."
