Yong Yan's real name is Yong Yan, a sophomore in the English department, head of the Arts Club. As for him and Zhang Ting, honestly, there's nothing messy going on. When that student got injured before, he originally planned to have a backup act fill in, but then Zhang Ting suddenly suggested someone popular should take over the spot.
To play it safe, Yong Yan refused at first, but Mei Mengzhen's popularity is genuinely sky-high. As soon as Zhang Ting proposed it, a bunch of people chimed in. With everyone watching and Zhang Ting's bright gaze, he honestly didn't know why, but somehow he ended up agreeing without even thinking it through.
Even now, with everything that's happened, he still has no idea why, but he feels like he's come across an incredibly interesting person.
Yong Yan chuckled softly, "Interesting. Really interesting."

Lai Xixi stormed out of the practice room, but word spread way faster than she had ever imagined.
