This is originally her own home, so Mei Mengzhen didn't stand on ceremony. She moved two chairs over and sat down here, grilling while eating, when she got tired of eating, she rested and ate, when she got tired of standing, she sat and ate. After the meat was done, she grilled vegetables. Mei Mengzhen's favorite thing to grill was cherry tomatoes, piping hot, sweet and sour, soft and juicy, altogether delicious.
When wrapping things up, Mei Mengzhen felt she'd eaten too much meat and was getting sick of it, so she gave herself a small bowl of the staff meal Fan Tianyu had prepared.
She really had eaten quite a lot, and sitting on the sofa, she burped with satisfaction.
Though she eats a lot in one go, this was the only meal she'd have all day, so if you think about it, it's not that unreasonable.
