Jiang Xiumei shot a look at Mei Mengfei, then handed the bowl to Mei Mengzhen politely, "Zhenzhen, sorry to trouble you."
"It's no problem."
Mei Mengzhen took the bowl, imitating what she'd seen before—rested her fingers on the rim, let two drops of Spiritual Spring Water slip in along the edge, stirred the porridge so the water blended in, then spooned it bit by bit into Mei Mengfei's mouth.
With a new person feeding him—and some Spiritual Spring Water—Mei Mengfei ate as if it were delicious, so much so that Jiang Xiumei watching from the side couldn't help feeling a bit jealous. "This kid, he wakes up and suddenly doesn't want me."
"Zhenzhen-sis's feeding tastes better." Mei Mengfei's weak little voice spoke the honest truth.
But Jiang Xiumei had no idea why. She thought, it's the same porridge in the same bowl—how come it tastes different just because someone else is feeding it? "Fine. If sis's feeding tastes good, eat some more."
