The five of them—Yan Keke included—live in the school dorm, but Mei Mengzhen and her friends all have their own apartments off campus. To get to school, they pass right by their own place, so there's basically no reason for them to go further out of their way. When they got downstairs to their building, they waved goodbye and left without so much as a second look. "We're heading home now, BYE."
Being left behind, Yan Keke got kind of annoyed. "Ugh, those guys. Hmmph. I should just ask my dad to buy me an apartment in this community too." She wanted to be able to say BYEBYE herself.
After saying that, Yan Keke, all grumpy, started walking toward the school. The others quickly ran to catch up, and Lai Xixi asked curiously, "It's my first time hearing that Zhenzhen has a place around here."
Lai Xixi and Tian Sha had both known Mei Mengzhen since last year, but when it came to her private life, honestly, they didn't know much.
