Director Zhang went on, "Actually, we don't encourage handing out money directly. These families are all struggling, and even if they have money, they usually won't want to spend it. So we distribute some of the funds in the form of supplies. We discussed all this beforehand."
Yan Keke nodded repeatedly, "That's right, you definitely have more experience than we do here. We'll absolutely take your advice. Actually, we're helping families not just in your street office, but in other districts too, gradually. We already talked it over before, and the suggestions from everyone have been pretty similar, so I'm just picking the middle ground."
The meaning was clear: pretty much all the street offices were using similar methods to solve this.
Director Zhang felt relieved; just then, Xiaoai came back to the rooftop with her grandmother.
Grandma Ai's hair was completely white, but she looked energetic, greeted the strangers warmly, "Hello, hello!"
