Mei Mengzhen looked at He Yiran, her expression clearly screaming that she didn't trust Jin Zhan, and Jin Zhan couldn't take it anymore. "Come on, when it comes to Red Wine, do you think I'm worse than Tan Jia? Zhenzhen, you're breaking my heart here."
"No, I just worry you'll price it too high and then I can't sell it. There's precedent for this, you know."
The issue with the calming incense was thanks to Jin Zhan, but the high price was definitely a thing. With most stuff, there's always that unwritten rule—prices are always set higher, never lower. So once the price is up, it's hard to pull it back down. If she sells to these guys at a high price, she can't very well turn around and offer it to others cheaper. High prices have their perks, but definitely their downsides too.
Jin Zhan didn't even feel embarrassed hearing this, instead he said, "But if you set it too low, that's not good either. You'll miss out on a lot that way."
