Mei Mengzhen was stunned at first, then realized she'd fallen into a trap. "So you always planned to raise the price by ten times, right? You just quoted a ridiculously high number because you were afraid I wouldn't agree. You figured I'd want to argue with you for a while, go back and forth bargaining, and then settling on a tenfold increase would be easier—am I right?"
He Yiran nodded and calmly took a bite of duck leg. Of course, Mei Mengzhen wasn't mad at He Yiran for tricking her. After seeing yesterday's prices, she also felt the fruit here was way too cheap. Judging by Xiyuan's situation now, raising the price ten times seemed about right. If they need to raise it again in the future, they can wait until they move to the new Xiyuan.
Thus, today's price hike negotiation ended just like that.
