Keke looked completely confused and asked, "Like what?"
"Like some philandering jerk coaxing his girlfriend—he makes her mad, then buys stuff to placate her, but after spending money, he complains that he spent too much and nags her about it."
Keke thought carefully for a moment. The situations were different, but the vibe was pretty similar. Suddenly, she felt guilty—it was clearly her idea to take Zhenzhen out shopping, but now she was starting to nitpick, plus she wasn't even the one spending the money. "Zhenzhen, just keep shopping. Shop as long as you want, I'll stick with you till you're all shopped out."
But right after she said that, Keke felt something was off. "Hang on, Zhenzhen, are you trying to trick me again? You're so sneaky! Do you know what you just acted like?"
"Like a girl who's downed a White Lotus with a splash of green tea," Mei Mengzhen described herself.
Keke didn't get it and asked blankly, "What does that mean? Are you cursing me or something?"
