Without the oil, she could finally eat the noodles in her bowl. Eating noodles meant starting with the soup—after gulping down a mouthful of Chicken Soup, Mei Mengzhen instantly felt incredibly satisfied. "Mm, the soup's pretty good."
After saying that, she took a bite of the noodles and found they were pretty decent too. "These noodles taste great—nice and chewy, easy to eat."
Seeing Mei Mengzhen so content, Huang Jing relaxed and started enjoying his own breakfast.
The whole Chicken Soup came uncut in the pot—once the soup beneath boiled, they'd cut the chicken themselves into smaller pieces before eating.
And the oil in the Chicken Soup was way less than the oil in the Chicken Offal Noodles. She said, "So weird, how come there's hardly any oil in this, but the noodles are just dripping with it?"
