Aside from the Buffet Restaurant, He Yiran's family hotel also had a regular restaurant. Their private room was on the regular restaurant side, where you order dishes just like outside, but usually He Yiran would arrange the menu ahead of time. They'd start plating in the kitchen and just bring them straight over.
Even so, there's nothing really unpalatable.
