Of course, it's already summer break, so next semester she'll be a high schooler, but for now they're not being picky about her exact age, and she's still sort of counted as a 16-year-old third-year middle school student.
But 34 minus 16 is 18, isn't it? At 18, Yu Duoduo's dad would have been her age, but you need nine months to actually have a kid, so if you push the timeline back, basically Yu Duoduo's dad had her when he was only 17.
If that's really the case, then either her dad had a teenage romance, or Yu Duoduo is lying.
