The fact that Mei Mengzhen could get a million yuan as payment for a movie was enough to stir up a major commotion, but what really set off another wave was that she donated the whole million and didn't keep a cent.
Mei Mengzhen's reputation was already pretty polarized, and now this move only made things even more extreme on both sides.
On one hand, some classmates thought she was just putting on an act, trying to make herself look like a saint.
But on the other hand, there were those who thought she really was just that kindhearted, and didn't need to fake anything at all.
However, Mei Mengzhen had never cared about these things to begin with, so she definitely wasn't going to bother with what people said now.
But there was one thing: now that school's started, isn't it time to start thinking about those makeup exams?
Mei Mengzhen asked, "Peipei, how did you do on your exams? You passed everything, right?"
