Mei Mengzhen thought for a moment and asked, "Keke, I want to ask you something. I really don't know what to do about it."
"Just ask! What do I know that I'd ever keep from you?" Yan Keke tilted her head toward her, looking puzzled as she waited for Mei Mengzhen to speak.
Mei Mengzhen hesitated, then said, "Here's the thing. Yesterday I handed the guest list for the new Xiyuan to Yiran, but there's one person I still haven't invited. I really don't know what to do, whether I should invite her or not."
When Mei Mengzhen said this, Yan Keke immediately got it. She pouted, "Yesterday I thought you deliberately didn't invite her, and honestly, I felt pretty relieved about that. I didn't expect you'd still be wavering about it today."
