The cat pushed off from the edge of the building with a light, effortless motion, her body cutting cleanly through the air as if gravity barely had a say in the matter. For a brief second, she was suspended between sky and ground, her form almost blending into the dim surroundings. Then she landed.
There was no sound at all when her paws touched the ground.
There was no thud, nor scrape, completely nothing. It was the kind of landing that made you question if she had weight to begin with. But then again, her form was of a cat right now. Maybe that explained why.
She lifted her head and started walking toward me, unhurried, like she had all the time in existence.
"Right now, I believe you're dealing with something pretty interesting," she said, her voice calm, almost amused. "Women from another world, going against a man trying to take over everything. I'd say that's… entertaining to watch."
