Late in the evening, Xin Yan was sitting before a table, gracefully writing on a scroll with focused intent. Her gaze was unwavering, and her face showed a still calmness.

Just before the door to her room creaked open, her hand paused, and her eyes found themselves looking towards it with anticipation.
Her face blossomed into happiness as if she found something that made her whole.
"Is it done?" She asked softly.
Standing on the boundary of her room, Noah let out a tired smile. Despite how neat and fresh he appeared because of his cultivation, there was a tired look in his eyes.
"They finally settled down." After a long sigh, Noah stepped into the room. "I was in doubt that Wuhan might fall to an inner demon during the fight."
"He seems to harbor deep resentment, and his mother is just as clueless as to why he is angry." Xin Yan stood up and moved to sit on the bed with him. "She thinks that she did a favor for Wuhan."
