"He does have a lot of guards. He just couldn't touch me anymore since Wren is here." Keagan chuckled as she took a brush and curled Cherie's hair carefully.
Crystal glanced at the other bridesmaid before chuckling. "You should get dressed now, Keagan. We don't want to hold up the ceremony and make them suspicious of you again. Moreover, more aristocrats arrived just earlier. You don't want them to get angry."
Keagan hummed after she got Cherie to stand up, checking for any issues with her clothes. "I'm waiting for Vera to come before getting dressed. I have a feeling she might want to inspect our things first."
The door opened after a sharp knock, and the four women turned to the person who walked in. Since she was the one planning for everything, Vera was reasonably the maid of honor. She was even donned in the deep-purple gown Keagan designed for her, but a red sash made her more distinguishable from the rest. Keagan didn't mind letting her have the title, either.
