Selene POV
A gasp escaped my lips as Belinda emerged from the shadow wearing a coy smile.
"Well, well, well... what are the chances of witnessing a murder by the Beta and Luna," she clapped her hands. "Hello Selene, it's good to have you back,".
"Stay out of this, Belinda," Lucius said quietly and grabbed my hands. "Let's go,".
"If you as much as move an inch, I promise I'll take videos of you and her plotting to kill the foxes and send it to Xavier,".
"And you think he'll believe you?" Lucius scoffed. "Alright, do whatever you want, Belinda. I'm sure Xavier would be thrilled when he discovers your real identity, too. You snitch on us, and I'll tattle on you, too. By the way, I thought you were going to leave the pack. Why did you come back?"
Belinda's face had turned white when Lucius mentioned telling Xavier her true identity and for a minute, my curiosity piqued. What was she hiding? What did she want to protect so badly?
