Selene POV
I woke up feeling as heavy as I've been feeling for a few weeks now and to my phone ringing consistently beside me. Rolling over to the side of the bed, I managed to pick up the phone.
"Hello," I said grudgingly into the phone.
"Hello, good morning, is this Luna Selene Carrell? My name is Jones and His Majesty has you as his emergency contact,".
I bolted into a sitting position the sleep clearing from my eyes as I pulled the phone tighter to my ears. "Yes, this is Luna Selene, his wife. Is something wrong?"
"Yes!" Jones sighed "His Majesty was in an accident three hours ago. It was raining and he seemed to be driving somewhere in a rush according to the witnesses. I am a doctor and he…".
I didn't hear the rest of what he was saying. My heart was pounding furiously in my chest and at that moment, it felt like I couldn't breathe like I couldn't think… every part of my body went numb as I tried not to think too much about what this could mean.
