Alex was in the air, flying at top speed with his new power as he started to create huge, mountain-sized balls of lava and launch them at Zodia. Zodia, on the other hand, was also flying as fast as he could, skillfully dodging these devastating attacks as well as cutting through them with his sword.
While they chased each other through the sky at top speed, moving at speeds that made light insignificant, Alex kept throwing the giant balls of lava, each one creating massive explosions that dealt insane damage to the mountains and wastelands below. Zodia, however, was clearly enjoying himself as he avoided the attacks, which detonated like nuclear explosions across the battlefield. His grin stretching from ear to ear.
Alex began to wonder to himself, "Why can't I hit him? He's just dodging and cutting through my attacks! I guess I should change tactics.".
Alex started forming giant flash fists and launched them toward Zodia. Zodia, moving at an absurd level of speed, drew his Sword of Calamity and sliced cleanly through the attacks. He uses his sword to form a magic circle and fired a powerful beam straight at Alex.
Alex was in shock at the incoming beam, he quickly formed a Blade of Death in hand and tried to hold off the beam. Unfortunately, he couldn't withstand the pressure of the beam for long "WHAT THE....?! THIS THING IS WAY TOO STRONG!", Alex complained in his head before being sent crashing through the ground by the sheer force. Debries flying everywhere.
After a while, the smoke cleared. Alex was still standing, trying to catch his breath. He muttered to himself, "What the fuck… I've never seen this kind of power before. Who is this guy?!"
Zodia floated down toward the ground and asked calmly, "That power you possess right now… are you a demon?"
Alex responded angrily, "Why the hell does that matter? And who are you?"
Zodia stared at Alex and said, "You're his son. The son of Kazuma Starion, the Spirit Lord. I knew it. That face… the way your demonic power takes shape—it's just like him."
Alex clenched his fists. "You're the one who destroyed the Demon Country, aren't you?"
Zodia began to laugh, covering his face as he replied, "AAHAHAHA! And what if I am? What would you do?"
Alex paused for a moment, then charged an enormous amount of power and shouted, "I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOU! I'LL TURN YOUR STUPID ASS TO ASH! YOU DEMON!", Alex's demon energy spiralled out of control in anger.
Zodia smiled slightly, impressed by the kind of power Alex is displaying. "Look who's talking. I don't even need my Sword of Calamity to deal with you. Fifty percent of my power should be enough to beat the crap out of you."
Alex launched himself faster than the speed of light toward Zodia. Zodia calmly put away his sword and told Alex to hit him with his best shot. Alex struck him with a Blade of Death, causing a massive explosion that destroyed a huge portion of the battlefield.
Zodia burst out of the explosion unharmed, rising into the sky with a sinister smile as Alex chased after him in fury.
Alex began creating countless Blades of Death—so many that they covered the sky. They rained down toward Zodia like beams of light. Zodia flew between them effortlessly, dodging as the attacks detonated across the battlefield in violent explosions. He summersaulted through the air while skillfully weaving through every blade of death that flew at him.
Zodia countered by firing a large number of beams of his own. The clash of their attacks caused catastrophic destruction. Laughing in excitement, Zodia exclaimed with excitement, "Such frightening power! I haven't seen explosions like these in a while. Wonderful!"
Alex shot forward like a lightning bolt, his eyes glowing red, and landed a powerful punch that sent Zodia crashing into the ground. Alex then formed a massive ball of energy and launched it downward, clearing everything in its path. The attacks of raw energy shot at Zodia, causing another wild explosion in the wastelands.
Zodia emerged from the explosion without a scratch, casually dusting off his chest with an impressed smile. "This boy has twenty times the destructive power of the Spirit Lord, with twice his speed and attack speed… This kid really is top-notch."
Alex flew down again and started throwing a flurry of punches and kicks. Both Alex and Zodia zipped around, causingpowerful shockwaves and debries to fly all over the wastelands with their fight. Alex was displaying insane levels of combat abilities, Zodia on the other hand was impressed. Alex let out a large scream before sending a punch at Zodia "AAAAAH!". To his shock, Zodia caught it effortlessly.
Grinning, Zodia asked, "Do you want to keep dancing, boy? 'Cause I could really use a few stretches."
Furious, Alex tried to strike again, but Zodia kicked him high into the air without him being able to react. Alex was in shock "What the hell....? He kicked me. So fast!". The two clashed in air at dangerous levels of speeds, their movements causing massive explosions across the sky. They flipped, turned, blasted long range beams at each other, dodged each other's attacks and were overall just showcasing their full fighting potential. Explosions covered the clouds as their battle raged on.
As they fought, Alex thought to himself, "With my current strength, I should be at A-rank level, moving at the speed of light, or maybe even faster. How is this guy keeping up with me? Was this the guy my dad faced?".
Suddenly, Alex's inner demon screamed, "YOU FOOL, LOOK UP!".
Alex looked toward the sky and saw a barrage of beams raining down on him.
Smiling, like a mad man enjoying himself, Zodia called out, "You like rapid-fire attacks, right? Here are a few fireworks to keep you entertained. Go on—have them!"
Alex tried to block them, but each beam exploded before reaching him. The explosions were so powerful that the entire earth shook. Countries, seas, mountains, and cities trembled violently.
As the beams continued to explode, Zodia laughed menacingly from the sky "HAHAHAHAHAAAAA!". Then he roared in excitement, "SINCE THE WORLD LIKES TO USE ITS BLESSINGS FOR WAR AND DESTUCTION, I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT REAL DESTUCTION IS! I AM ZODIA, THE GOD OF WAR AND DESTUCTION, KNEEL BEFORE ME!", he roared out like a mad man as his explosions destroyed the land below him.
Ukina watched from a far distance, drooling as she whispered to herself, "Master Zodia… indeed, you are the one and only supreme one."
