Arbuckle looked at Jiang Chen, at the Underworld Clan members across from him, and at their black eyes. Just as Jiang Chen had thought, Arbuckle was enraged.
"Damn it, it's a Summoner from the Difiled Camp!"
"Summoners are the most despicable! They turn our kin into Puppets."
"Should we kill the Swordsman first, or go after the Puppet?"
"Take out the Puppet first, then that Summoner. Let that Swordsman live a little longer."
As they were discussing this, Jiang Chen took Ji Ma and immediately fled, finding a place to hide. This was exactly what Jiang Chen had hoped to see.
And, just as Jiang Chen had expected, when Arbuckle of the Underworld Clan saw his companion turned into a Puppet, he abandoned him.
Ji Ma hid with great care. "It seems you were right," she whispered. "They really started fighting."
"No kidding. What would you do if someone turned your companion into a Puppet?" Jiang Chen asked.
"I'd definitely not be cool with it," Ji Ma replied.
