The two continued forward and encountered Baluo.
At the time, Baluo was surrounded by a dense swarm of insects. These black insects were clearly visible and much larger than those in the fog; they were able to fly under Jiang Chen's gravity. The gravity had no effect on these insects, nor did it have any on Baluo. Clearly, the equipment Baluo was wearing was also quite formidable, able to grant immunity to abnormal states; it must be a Legendary Set.
Baluo also saw Ji Ma, looking at her serpent-like legs beneath her.
"So you're from the Medusa clan, no wonder you could silently enter my territory."
Baluo then realized that petrification was not energy, but rather a different form of attack. Baluo's insects could absorb energy, but they could not absorb petrification.
After Jiang Chen initiated the Sword Array, one hundred Sword Qi Attacks aimed at Baluo were absorbed by the insects before they could even get close, causing no damage at all.
